This is Me!

Over the decades of my corporate work, I have been asked many times “how do you do what you do?” The fact of the matter is that in those moments, they wouldn’t have believed me if I would have told them. Heck, as I write this, I doubt that they would believe me today!

The truth of the matter is that I have a very strong intuition, I get a gut sense of things. If things don’t seem to fit together, I will feel that too, it is this intuitive sense that has allowed me to be so successful in the corporate world, but I could never truly give credit where credit was due. You see, in the corporate world it had to be skill, raw talent with perhaps a dose of luck, those were acceptable ways to navigate the conversation.

Nowhere was there room for me to be guided by the language of my body, by my intuition, by my spirit guides.

So, over the decades I got used to talking about my spiritual gifts in two very different ways that much of the time left me feeling like I was living two different lives. My very practical, rule driven corporate existence and the spiritual, shamanic, mystical, esoteric side of life.

The confidence that I gained by taking that leap back in March of 2024 and saying YES to my lifelong dream of living in France, did something else so unexpected. At the time, I had no idea if that YES was going to work out, if my dream would end up a dream or turn into a nightmare. I knew that I was walking to the edge of a cliff and being asked by spirit to take a step off without guarantees, without all the answers, without being able to see that there would be something solid to catch me. But I said YES anyway and took that step.

The thing that I didn’t realize would happen in doing that was that after landing in France, finding my way, navigating administration, etc., etc. Navigating all the things that I have during my first year in France. (There is a coming YouTube video where I go through all the things if you are interested, look for it on my channel in the coming weeks.). What I didn’t realize is that with every step achieved, I would gain more confidence to try other things, to say yes to things that I may not have before. Yes, to navigating hard conversations, yes to conversations solely in French, etc. With each ounce of building confidence, I was getting closer to another leap.

You see, in the fall of 2024 when I created my company in France and I defined what that company would do, I allowed for all the corporate work that I have always done but I also allowed for work with individuals. Working with individuals is something that I have always wanted to do, along with developing courses to teach individuals how to develop their own gifts and use their own intuition to guide them through their own powerful life transformations. This vision that I have carried for the last decade plus, had me being able to use all my gifts from my corporate experience plus my shamanic and intuitive training to help people. You see, I want to help others say YES to their own dreams, to encourage them not to wait until that list of whatever is done, until they feel ready, or have all the answers, to just say YES and step into their dream because what I have found on the other side of that leap is the confidence assured by landing on solid ground, learning to work things out even when they are hard, I have gained more confidence in myself to take this next leap and that is what I want for you too!

So today, I claim my next leap by owning my full identity as a shamanic practitioner, transformation coach, practical mystic, energy intuitive and all-around wise woman and through all my experiences, talents and gifts that I seek to help others say YES to themselves and claim those deepest longings of their heart. I know that your longings are there, I can feel them, and I know you can too.

For those of you who may not have known about this aspect of me, I stumbled into a self-help section in a book store back in the mid 1990s because I was plagued by the question “Is this all there is to life?” I felt a calling to understand my purpose for being here. That started me on a journey of self-discovery and exploration of many of the world’s spiritual teachings. It was by total accident in 2007 that I found myself attending a workshop to support a friend who was going through a battle with cancer at the time. That workshop turned out to be the south work of the medicine wheel which is the initial year of study into Peruvian shamanism, that weekend my life was forever changed, I went on to do the entire year of study and I have been studying shamanism ever since along with energy studies, intuitive development, polarity work, numerology, human design, grief work and codependency study etc., etc. I have been studying anything I was drawn to, taking from each what felt aligned and leaving the rest. All of this study has integrated itself into how I navigate life and I would like to believe that it has made me a much more loving and better person overall but it is also this knowledge and study that I love to bring to others as they ponder the deep questions of life as I love to do. Below you will find some questions for you to ponder in your favorite journal or on your morning commute.

• Are there aspects of yourself that you don’t share with everyone in your world? Why?
• What gifts do you feel that you have that you don’t feel like you can share fully?
• Is there any aspect of you that you feel like you are hiding from the rest of the world? Why?
• What would it feel like to let your full self be known to everyone in your world?
